Peasant Painting and Fengjing
Fengjing is an 1800 year-old water town famous for its meandering canals, numerous bridges and ancient temples.

Just outside of Fengjing, we will visit a Chinese Peasant Painting Village(RMB30) and view works created by Chinese farmers and peasant artists.
Their compositions, always painted in grand fashion, are linked with daily rural life.
We will get a chance to meet artists at work, with some help from the artist, we will create our own special farmer's painting to bring home, painting material will be provided by artist, you will also have a chance to buy some of these colourful depictions of everyday life(cash payment only).
In Fengjing, we will enjoy a boat ride(RMB60 per boat for max 6 people) around this beautiful water town, meeting local people and then our walk also go off the main streets and into the back lanes for a glimpse of small-village life.

Program is 8hrs. Guide will meet you at your hotel. Kindly note, food cost is not included in this price (these costs are usually minimal), it makes the tour more flexible and you can get the chance to try different kind of genuine Chinese food. Our guides are always happy to recommend. Note that the guide will join you for meals and we ask that you pay for the guide.
