There’s one large ancient stone bridge called "Fangsheng Bridge" or "Setting-free Bridge" and you can purchase fish to release for good luck.
Among these, Great North Street boasts "a mile-long road with a thousand shops", Kezhi Garden is a representative of the architecture of the rich families in south of the Yangtze River.
The ancient streets paved with stone slabs, deep and quiet alleyways, arched stone bridges, little creaking boats all express the beauty of water in the ancient town of Zhujiajiao.
You will have a boat ride along the river. The antiquity of the bridges, the rareness of the streets and the seclusion of the alleyways all present you a scene of "boats sailing on the water and people touring in painting".
After Watertown, you will have the opportunity to visit the Qingpu Museum has a collection of about ten thousand pieces. The architecture, composed of five interlocked oval cylinders and constructed with modern architectural materials, looks like a flying butterfly. Using multimedia equipment, we will experience the history of Qingpu, Shanghai's water culture, models of the Qinglong port, examples of the bridge culture, and examples of the customs and culture of the local people.
